Kane Constructions has been awarded the contract to deliver the Picton Car Park Upgrade, an important element of Wollondilly Shire Council’s ongoing redevelopment of Picton, the cultural heart of the region.
The project will enhance the existing 130 space car park on Walton Street with accessible parking, EV charging, new streetlighting, CCTV and camper vehicle facilities. It is scheduled for completion in mid-2026 to align with the opening of the new Government Services Building, which Kane is also delivering. The upgraded car park will help manage the increased traffic expected across Picton’s expanding Cultural Precinct, which includes new child services facilities, a performing arts centre, a library and a village green.
This project builds on our long standing partnership with Wollondilly Shire Council and reinforces our commitment to delivering community focused infrastructure that strengthens Picton’s cultural and civic precinct.
