Following our success at the 2025 Master Builders NSW Excellence in Construction Awards, the Parramatta National Rugby League Centre of Excellence and Community Facility has been nominated at the 2025 Master Builders National Excellence Awards in Adelaide, recognised in the National Entertainment and Recreation Facility Award category.
Delivered for the Parramatta Eels, this world-class complex brings together elite training, administration and community facilities within one state-of-the-art hub at Kellyville Park. The project consolidates the club’s operations and creates a shared space for professional athletes, local sporting groups and the wider community.
Constructed by Kane in collaboration with HB Architects and Waypoint Group, the facility includes an elite training gym, medical and rehabilitation areas, lecture theatre, aquatic recovery pools and administrative offices, alongside community amenities such as a gym, café, function spaces and spectator seating for over 1,500 people.
The project overcame complex site logistics and live-environment challenges, maintaining access for the Eels’ training programs throughout construction. Sustainable design principles guided delivery, incorporating solar energy systems, rainwater harvesting and extensive native landscaping to minimise environmental impact and ensure long-term efficiency.
“The Kane team have been nothing short of sensational from day one – transparent, professional and always willing to go the extra mile”, Chris Brown, Project Manager, Waypoint Group
This nomination reflects the shared commitment of the project team, consultants and trades who delivered a facility that will elevate rugby league in Western Sydney and serve the community for generations.
