Kane Constructions is pleased to announce our appointment as Head Contractor to deliver the Cobblebank Community Services Hub (CCSH) for Melton City Council.
This $60 million Design and Construct project will be located within the Cobblebank Metropolitan Activity Centre in Melbourne’s west, an area experiencing rapid population growth and increasing demand for integrated community services.
The new six-storey facility is targeting a 5 Star Green Star certification which will include basement level parking and over 13,000m² of flexible office, training and consulting space, designed to accommodate a broad range of health, community and support services. The project has been designed by DesignInc.
Situated on a 10,321m² site along Hollingsworth Drive, the CCSH will become a permanent, council-owned asset supporting service providers in areas such as mental health, disability, refugee support, family services and Aboriginal and culturally diverse community support.
A key feature of the facility is its future-ready, adaptable design which allows for open plan workspaces, private consultation rooms and training areas, providing flexibility to evolve with the needs of the community over time.
Kane is proud to partner with the City of Melton to deliver this important piece of social infrastructure that will play a significant role in improving access to services and enhancing wellbeing outcomes for residents in Melbourne’s west.
