Kane Constructions Victorian Social Club wrapped up the year with a lively Family Christmas Day at Gumbuya World.
Even with an overcast sky and the odd shower, spirits were high as families moved freely between the wildlife park, thrill rides and (for the bravest in wetsuits!) endless hours on the waterslides.
A morning koala meet-and-greet quickly became a crowd favourite, with the fuzzy locals waking up for pats and eucalyptus snacks. Excitement then shifted inside as Santa arrived with a hearty “ho, ho, ho!” and a sleigh full of gifts. His appearance was met with giggles, wide eyes and a line of eager little ones waiting for their moment to say hello.
A relaxed BBQ lunch brought everyone together to catch up, recharge and share a few laughs before heading back out for more rides. Though the rollercoaster certainly tested the nerves and the post lunch tummies!
A big thank you to everyone who came along and helped create such a memorable day for our Kane families. It was the perfect way to close out the year, celebrating our people and their families who support them all year round.
