Works commence on new UniSQ Integrated Practice Allied Health Building project

2nd December, 2025

Kane Constructions is pleased to commence works on the new Integrated Practice Allied Health Building at the University of Southern Queensland’s (UniSQ) Ipswich Campus, following the successful completion of the Early Contractor Involvement phase.

This three-storey facility will support the university’s expanding health sciences program, bringing together world-class education and research under one roof.

On the ground floor, the building will house state-of-the-art sports and exercise facilities including a weight’s gym, gait track, recovery area and consulting suites. Level two will feature flexible learning spaces, breakout areas and amenities for students and staff. The third level will accommodate a purpose-built PC2 teaching and research laboratory.

The facility will deliver enhanced education and training opportunities across a range of disciplines including occupational therapy, speech pathology, physiotherapy, paramedicine, nursing and midwifery, sports and exercise science and biomedical sciences.

Kane is looking forward to partnering with UniSQ to deliver a cutting-edge learning environment that will support the next generation of healthcare professionals.
