Birrong Boys and Birrong Girls High Schools major upgrade complete

24th February, 2026

Kane Constructions NSW has proudly delivered a significant upgrade to both Birrong Boys High School and Birrong Girls High School, enhancing education infrastructure for the growing Western Sydney community.

Delivered in partnership with School Infrastructure NSW, project managers Turner & Townsend, and Tanner Kibble Denton Architects, the project has created modern, flexible learning environments designed to support long-term student development and community needs.

Construction took place within a live school environment across two campuses, requiring meticulous planning and coordination to minimise disruption to teaching and learning.

At Birrong Boys High School, the works included upgrades to the existing multipurpose hall and covered outdoor learning area, the construction of new general and specialised learning spaces for science, food technology, and materials learning, new staff and administration facilities, a refurbished student support unit, and improved landscaped outdoor areas.

The Birrong Girls High School upgrade delivered a new multipurpose hall and covered outdoor learning area, new general learning spaces, a purpose-built visual arts unit, a refurbished materials learning unit, new staff and administration areas, and revitalised outdoor spaces.

The successful completion of this project reinforces Kane’s commitment to building high-quality education infrastructure in partnership with government and industry.
