Kane Constructions was awarded the Design and Construct contract for a nine-level apartment development located in the inner-city suburb of Prahran, Melbourne.
The $43 million project delivered 140 high-end residential apartments with basement parking for 160 vehicles. Ground level retail tenancies activate Commercial Road, while outdoor communal spaces on Level 1 provide a shared retreat for residents.
The building features a post-tensioned flat plate concrete structure with a precast core incorporating wet joints. Its standout façade includes a mix of glazed curtain wall and crisp white precast concrete panels, giving the development a bold and contemporary identity.
Construction commenced in early 2013 and reached practical completion in October 2014.
