Kane Constructions has been engaged to deliver a new $152 million aquatic and leisure centre, located in Fraser Rise within the City of Melton.

Set on a 3.6-hectare greenfield site, the centre will include a FINA-compliant 50-metre pool, specialised learning and program pools, and a dedicated sensory aquatic space. Health and wellness facilities will also be incorporated, with a 24-hour gym and allied health spaces designed to support a wide range of community needs.

In addition to the aquatic and fitness elements, the development will feature multipurpose community rooms, landscaped outdoor areas and generous car parking, creating a welcoming hub for sport, leisure and social connection.

The project is being delivered as an all-electric facility targeting a 5 Star Green Star accreditation, positioning the aquatic and leisure centre as a leading destination for health, recreation and community engagement in Melbourne’s west.
