Kane Constructions has successfully completed the refurbishment of four levels of Building 168 at the University of Melbourne, including a full façade replacement.
The project involved a complete strip-out back to base, hazardous material removal, and a new fitout replicating the design previously delivered on Level 5 as part of the $162 million New Student Precinct, completed by Kane in 2023.
Works commenced in January 2024 following scaffolding and services relocations undertaken in late 2023. The refurbished spaces now provide modern, functional facilities consistent with the University’s contemporary design standards, enhancing the experience for staff and students.
