Kane Constructions has been engaged by TriCare, in collaboration with Kearney Architecture, to deliver 50 new retirement living dwellings at the established TriCare Stafford Lakes Retirement Community in Brisbane.
The project will expand the existing retirement community with contemporary residential accommodation and a range of new resident amenities designed to support wellbeing, connection and independent living.
Works include the construction of a basement car park, sky lounge, communal dining facilities and associated shared spaces. The new buildings have been carefully designed to complement the existing village while providing modern, high-quality accommodation for current and future residents.
Located within an operational retirement community, the project requires a carefully planned approach to construction. Kane will work closely with TriCare and village stakeholders to stage works, maintain resident access and minimise disruption to day-to-day operations throughout delivery.
The project builds on Kane's experience delivering complex retirement living and aged care projects within occupied environments, with a strong focus on safety, quality and stakeholder engagement.
Construction has recently commenced onsite, with Kane working alongside TriCare, Kearney Architecture and the consultant team to deliver this important addition to the Stafford Lakes community.
