Kane Constructions has completed the Walton Street Car Park in Picton for Wollondilly Shire Council, delivering an important piece of infrastructure that will support the continued growth of the town's Cultural Precinct.
Completed alongside the Wollondilly Civic Centre, also delivered by Kane, the project improves access and convenience for residents and visitors while supporting future community facilities planned for the precinct.
Designed by Lockhart-Krause Architects, the new Car Park includes accessible parking bays, electric vehicle charging stations, upgraded street lighting, CCTV, and dedicated facilities for camper vehicles, creating a modern, safe and functional public space.
As Picton continues to grow, the upgraded Car Park will help accommodate increasing visitor numbers and improve connectivity to surrounding community assets, including the new child services facilities, performing arts centre, library and village green.
The project continues Kane's long-standing partnership with Wollondilly Shire Council and demonstrates our commitment to delivering high-quality infrastructure that enhances the communities in which we work.
