Kane Constructions has successfully delivered the new Wollondilly Civic Centre in Picton for Wollondilly Shire Council.
Designed by Williams Ross Architects, the state-of-the-art development has been created as a central hub for the local community, supporting cultural expression, encouraging civic engagement, and enabling business activity across the region.
The ground and three storey facility brings together a range of civic, community and commercial functions within a contemporary and flexible environment. The building features council staff workspaces, a dedicated customer service centre, publicly accessible ground-floor amenities, flexible meeting and multi-purpose spaces, commercial lettable areas, and basement car parking.
Reflecting on the successful delivery of the project, Wollondilly Shire Council CEO Ben Taylor said:
“Kane Constructions were excellent, demonstrating a consistently high standard of capability and professionalism throughout the delivery of the project. Their approach reflected an appreciation not only of technical delivery requirements, but also of the importance of the project to the community it serves.”
The completed development provides a modern and accessible destination for council services, community connection and local business activity, creating a lasting asset for the growing Wollondilly region.
