Kane Constructions’ Picton team recently welcomed colleagues from our NSW office for a walkthrough of the Wollondilly projects, the Wollondilly Government Services Building (GSB) and the Wollondilly Single Deck Car Park (SDCP).
Delivered in collaboration with Wollondilly Shire Council and Williams Ross Architects, both projects are now in their final stages. The visit provided an opportunity to share key project insights, including challenges navigated, procurement strategies and outcomes achieved across both builds.
The GSB has taken shape as a multi-level civic building, with the Kane team achieving a 5 Star NABERS rating through its design and construction. Alongside it, the SDCP continues to progress as a critical piece of infrastructure supporting Wollondilly’s growing community.
The GSB marked Kane’s first project with Wollondilly Shire Council, paving the way for the successful delivery of the SDCP as a follow-on project, reflecting the strength of the relationship built between Council and the Kane team.
With both projects nearing completion, the walkthrough provided a moment to reflect on the team’s efforts and the outcomes delivered, as the projects move into their final stage.
