Kane Constructions has reached a significant milestone at Villanova College, celebrating the topping out of the new Great Hall & STEM Precinct.
The milestone brought together representatives from the College, board members, consultants and subcontractors to recognise the collective effort and collaboration behind the project to date.
The multi-level precinct has been carefully designed to maximise functionality within the constrained campus environment. The lower ground level will provide a secondary entrance and car parking, while the ground floor will include a gymnasium and supporting amenities. Level 1 will house a double sports hall and change facilities, connecting to Level 2 which will serve as the main entry point, complete with a terrace, kiosk and kitchen facilities.
Levels 3 and 4 will deliver dedicated STEM laboratories and flexible learning environments designed to support collaboration and contemporary education outcomes. The upper level will also include a roof terrace and plant room.
The project also includes extensive landscaping and infrastructure upgrades to better connect the new facility with the surrounding campus. Works include utility services, road upgrades and a new boundary gate and fence to support improved access and campus functionality.
Kane looks forward to continuing its partnership with Villanova College, Donald Cant Watts Corke, Deicke Richards, the consultant team and subcontractors as the project progresses toward completion.
